PROLIST® open took place the first time in Austria on 2nd February 2012

An efficient process control engineering implicates a versatile data exchange between the users of a production plant, contractors and planners who construct the plant as well as the manufacturers of the process control equipment which is installed in the plant. The objective of the PROLIST® International e.V. association is to exchange data in a machine-readable way in order to minimize work flows which could potentially cause errors in addition. Standardized lists of properties according to PROLIST® are the prerequisites as a common language.

The presentations of PROLIST® open 2012 Austria which took place at the Vienna airport on 2nd February 2012 have been focused exactly to these topics. Companies AMR from Schwechat and Paradine from Vienna had supported the event significantly. The numerous participants from the Austrian chemical and petrochemical industry as well as from engineering and consultancy companies have informed themselves about technologies using Lists of Properties according to NE 100 and about the current progress in the PROLIST community. The engaged discussion at the end of the event emphasized the importance of PROLIST open for the participants.
