AK 1.12 "Modularisation of Automation Engineering"

General: Development of automation engineering requirements relating to a future modularisation of process engineering systems.
Process engineering is increasingly the force behind approaches to the modularisation of systems. Possible solutions for modularised and flexible process engineering systems are realised, among others, in the “F3 Factory”, "CoPIRIDE", "PILLS" and "50% Idea – "Tutzing Symposium" projects. The "50% Idea” of the 48th Tutzing Symposium also illustrates clear approaches to achieving this innovative system structure.
The integration of production modules in a complete system not only requires the standardisation of process connections for energy and material flows, but also automation engineering. The motivation behind the work in the working group is the challenge of enabling the realisation of the desired benefits through the further development of modular concepts in automation engineering.
Target: The results of work to date revealed in a presentation at the Annual General Meeting 2012 will be published together with the Namur NE 148 recommendation. |
