The members of PROLIST® INTERNATIONAL want to use the unique opportunity to optimize their internal and external processes and workflows and to reduce transaction costs in engineering and procurement by making use of lists of properties.
The long-term goal is to support processes throughout the entire plant life cycle at every point where information systems exchange data on process control devices.


Requirement and Vision

Properties and lists of properties are required both for the supplier/manufacturer and user/customer, for planning, dimensioning, maintenance and procurement of electrical and electronic process control devices using electronic data exchange

between manufacturers and customers or
between systems either at the manufacturer's or customer's premises e.g. between ERP and CAE systems

while avoiding

duplication of data entry
typing errors

and reducing

the quantity of paper documents and
transaction costs

Implementation of these measures will result in further optimization of business processes and cost reduction.
